- To all European Chess Federations affiliated to FIDE and ECU -
Venue:
Tournament will take place in Subotica.

Hotel “Patria” **** (in the center of the town, completely renovated in 2008)
Price for full board (per person per day): 1/1 = 46 EUR, 1/2 = 37 EUR
Registration:
Written registrations should be sent to the organizers before July 1 st , 2010 via federation, club or personally.
Payment instruction:

- 9 rounds played according to the Swiss System, 30 minutes per player
- Categories: boys and girls under 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18
- Entry fee: 20 EUR per participant.

INDIVIDUAL EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP – RAPID
is one of the three tournaments in the "ECU Youth Grand-Prix 2010" tournaments cycle. The tournament is scored for the "ECU Youth Grand-Prix 2010" final standings according special regulations, published on the ECU web-site, as well as on the web-site of the organizers of these tournaments. |
(2) 9th EUROPEAN RAPID CUP - RAPID SUPER FINAL
- Two categories, boys and girls. The six best players in each category of Individual European Youth Championships - Rapid 2010, may enter Rapid Super Final (5 players x 6 categories - under 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 plus 2 players will be selected by Organizer).
- These players (altogether 32) - separate boys and girls, will play matches in 5 rounds (knock - out system) according special regulations.
- Prizes in cash: 1. = 300 € , 2. = 150 € , 3. = 125 € , 4. = 75 € ,
- Schedule: July 11th at 4,00 p.m. (1st and 2nd round), July 12th at 10,00 a.m. (semifinal and final)
(3) 10th TEAM EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS - RAPID
- Two categories, under 14 and under 18
- Teams are composed of 3 boys + 1 girl and unlimited number of reserves
- One team may have players from two National Federation at the most;
- 7 rounds played according to the Swiss System, 15 minutes per player
- Entry fee: 5 EUR per participant
- Schedule: July 13th at 10,00 a.m. (break 1,30 p.m.-3,00 p.m.)
- Prizes: The three best teams in both categories win cups, medals and diplomas,
and will be awarded in different prizes in goods.
(4) 10th INDIVIDUAL EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS - BLITZ
- Two categories, under 14 and under 18 separate for boys and girls;
- 9 rounds played according to the Swiss System, 5 minutes per player
- Entry fee: 5 EUR per participant;
- Schedule: July 14th at 10,00 a.m.
- Prizes: The three best players in both categories win cups, medals and diplomas.
- The five best players will be awarded with different prizes in goods.
(5) 8th EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN SOLVING CHESS PROBLEMS
- Two categories, under 14 and under 18;
- Prizes: The three best players in both categories win cups, medals and diplomas;
- The five best players will be awarded with different prizes in goods;
- Schedule: July 12th 5,00 p.m.

REGULATIONS
To all European Chess Federations affiliated to FIDE and ECU

“Spartak Chess Club” Subotica
Venue:
Tournament will take place in Subotica.
Subotica is town with about 150.000 inhabitants, placed on Serbian border with Hungary. Town is situated on international motorway and on railroad Belgrade – Budapest. Subotica is located 190 km away from Belgrade and 260 km away from Budapest.
The city is located centrally between the rivers Danube on the north and the Tisza on the east and represents the most distinctive urban settlement between the two rivers.
City is very beautiful, with long tradition and near city is Palic lake.

- The six best players in each categories of Individual European Championships - Rapid 2007, for youth and juniors, may enter Rapid Super Final (5 players x 6 categories - under 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 = 30 players, + 2 players will be selected by Organizer).
- These players (altogether 32) - separate boys and girls, will play matches in 5 rounds (2 rapid games G - 15`), - knock - out system.
- Prizes in cash: 1. = 500 E, 2. = 250 E, 3. = 150 E, 4. = 100 E ,
- Prizes in goods: 5-8. places = 50 E in goods each
- Schedule: July 17th at 10,00 a.m.
(3) 7th TEAM EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS - RAPID
- Two categories, under 14 and under 18
- Teams (clubs) are composed of 3 boys + 1 girl and maximum 2 reserves
- Each National Federation may participate with many teams as they like.
- One Team (club) may have players from two National Federation at the most;
- System: Swiss system in 7 rounds;
- Time limit: 15 minutes per player;
- Entry fee: 5 EUR per participant
- Schedule: July 14th at 5,00 p.m.
- Prizes: The three best teams in both categories win cups, medals and diplomas, and will be awarded in different prizes in goods.
(4) 7th INDIVIDUAL EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIPS - BLITZ
- Two categories, under 14 and under 18 separate for boys and girls;
- System: Swiss System in 9 rounds;
- Time limit: 5 minutes per player;
- Entry fee: 5 EUR per participant;
- Schedule: July 18 10,00 a.m.
- Prizes: The three best players in both categories win cups, medals and diplomas.
- The five best players will be awarded with different prizes in goods.
5) 6th EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP IN SOLVING CHESS PROBLEMS
- Two categories, under 14 and under 18;
- Prizes: The three best players in both categories win cups, medals and diplomas;
- The five best players will be awarded with different prizes in goods;
- Schedule: July 17th 5,00 p.m.

The total prize fund in gifts for all events will be over 8.000 E in goods, and 2.000 E in cash (for super finals) as well as additional prizes and goods.
